Stuart joined BakerAg in 2004 following a 17 year career as a Rural Chartered Surveyor in his native Scotland. He gained registration in New Zealand in May 2005.
He undertakes valuations across the rural and lifestyle sectors in the Wairarapa and advises farmers & landowners across New Zealand in regard to compensation assessments for public works, including new electricity transmission projects.
He is also a specialist in wind farm and other renewable generation developments and has acted for landowner groups in several of New Zealand’s largest planned wind farm projects.
In addition to acting for private landowners, instructions from the corporate world include work for several of the Electricity SOEs, together with valuation appointments for the Ministry of Education and the Office of Treaty Settlements.
He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent.
