BakerAg is a well-established rural consultancy and valuation company with offices in Masterton and Feilding. We service clients mainly throughout the Southern North Island as well as nationwide, in sheep and beef consultancy, dairy consultancy, rural and commercial valuation (including property rights and leasing) and have a growing environmental compliancy service offering.

We are looking for an experienced sheep and beef agribusiness consultant to join our team in Masterton. This person is expected to assist clients with stock policy and feed budgeting analysis, investment analysis, budgeting and bank finance reporting, human resource management, project management, and environmental management and compliance, along with some facilitation work of farm business groups, seminars and workshops. Business governance and succession planning are also included in the service offering.

BakerAg has a strong reputation in these areas of expertise and the successful applicant would be expected to uphold and enhance the high standard of delivery that the company is known for.

Extensive experience in the above disciplines is preferable but not essential, provided that you have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

A tertiary degree in agriculture or an allied discipline is a minimum academic requirement. Some direct experience in working on farms is also preferred.
